The first in a series of Business and IT Conferences will
take place on Thursday, 12 July in
the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh.
The purpose of the BIT Conf series is to educate business owners and
managers on how to
integrate IT into the day-to-day running of their businesses. This will
allow them to create
new advertising and marketing strategies, improve work flow and
productivity, and build
better channels of communication with their clients and customers.
The first in a number of talks entitled, “Social Media for Business”, will
focus on the use of
social media and the beneficial uses it can have in growing a business.
The event is being hosted by local IT support company, Complete Computer
Solutions, based
in Friar’s Court in Nenagh. Conference organiser, Dave Devery says. “This
series of talks
are an opportunity for local businesses to educate themselves on how to
maximise the IT that
they are using.
The first night will focus on how to use Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and
LinkedIn as part
of a marketing campaign and also to communicate with current and potential
customers and
clients."
The nights are free to attend with registration required on the BIT Conf
website beforehand.
It will also allow local business people to attend without having to travel
to the likes of
Dublin or Cork for such events.”
“Social Media for Business” takes place on Thursday, 12th July in the Abbey
Court Hotel,
Nenagh from 7pm to 9.30pm.
